The Storm and the Sermon on David
September 8th We’re staying in a room at Woodspring Suites. As I was told, we’ve been through Category 3 and 4 storms when I was little near the Tampa area, and therefore Irma should be nothing compared to that by the time it reaches the Clermont area. Me and Tyler exchanged Instagram accounts Wednesday after the closing prayer at youth group. We’ve been talking ever since. Apparently her family isn’t evacuating from Irma either. I also sent her a photograph of some clouds I took with my iPhone, to which she replied positively. During the service that Wednesday, our youth pastor talked about the differences between the fundamentals of the Old Testament and the New. Apparently David was a very bitter man who wished death upon his enemies, but only because their numbers were so great and he was a king, and for obvious reasons he asked god to 'take care' of his enemies.
